GI_FORUM 2020

<p>Participants from over 40 countries joined the virtual 2020 GI_Forum which provided a platform for dialogue among geospatial minds with the aim of contributing to a more just, ethical and sustainable society. Representatives from NAIADES attended and gave a presentation on the project. The GI_Forum as a networking platform that plays a crucial role in the Geographic Information Science community. Indeed, participants establish new contacts and exchange know-how during their time in Salzburg. Innovation happens, where long-time practical experience and in-depth methodological knowledge meet new ideas and ‘disruptive technologies’.</p>
